Returns & Refunds

Please select carefully, as refunds are not applicable if you make a wrong selection or change your mind—this includes made-to-order items. You may request an exchange within an acceptable timeframe or opt for store credit in lieu.


At our discretion, if a refund is offered, an 8% fee will be deducted from your total sale, along with any delivery charges if the order was dispatched. These fees cover the non-refundable merchant charges from our payment providers and are non-negotiable.


No returns will be accepted without prior written approval from Mexican Homewares


All return requests must be made within 24 hours of receiving your order.


Mexican Homewares does not offer exchanges or returns for change of mind, including for pre-ordered items. Sale items are non-returnable, and transactions are final. Return requests that are approved must be finalized within 7 days of receipt of your order.


If you receive an item that is faulty or incorrect, you may apply for a credit note or exchange, provided we are satisfied that an error occurred in the supply of the item or that a fault existed before delivery.


In cases where
Mexican Homewares is at fault, we will cover the shipping costs for returning the faulty or incorrect item and for dispatching the replacement. In some instances, we may request that you dispose of items, which will be communicated to you in writing.


When returning items, please be mindful that many of our products are fragile and must be packed with care. Fragile items should be wrapped in bubble wrap and sent in a box to ensure they reach us in a returnable condition.
Mexican Homewares will not be liable for items damaged in return transit due to inappropriate packaging by you.


All items being returned remain your property until received by us. Approved returns will be issued as a credit note for use on the
Mexican Homewares website. Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email and issue a credit note, where applicable, with a validity of 6 months.


PARCELS | RTS (Return to Sender)


If a parcel cannot be delivered to you due to an error on your part, such as incorrect delivery details or failure to collect your parcel from the local depot, Mexican Homewares will not be liable for re-postage. If you wish to have the parcel re-delivered, you must cover the re-delivery costs.


Alternatively, you may request a credit note for the item's value, less the original delivery fee.


We do not offer refunds or returns on parcels returned to us due to RTS deliveries where the customer is liable for re-delivery.


DAMAGES | STRICT POLICY


Any items received damaged or faulty must be reported to Mexican Homewares within 24 hours of receiving your parcel. Due to strict insurance policies with our courier partners and individual suppliers’ terms and conditions, we have a limited window to report any issues.


Please email clear images showing the damage or fault, along with your name, order reference number, and contact details, to process your claim. If the packaging is damaged, include photos of the shipping damage.


Once your email is reviewed, we will contact you to arrange a resolution. If a replacement is available, we will send it to you. If not, we will work with you to find an alternative solution.
